New curriculum guidelines issued by the Education Ministry earlier this year included instructions that globes be used in elementary school social studies lessons. This has led to a healthy increase in business for manufacturers like Sanki Globes of Saitaima who have seen orders rise 20% from the previous year and expect next year to be better still.
