ZakZak reports (Japanese) that a group of Hokkaido pupils on a school excursion were caught shoplifting in a duty free store at Los Angeles International Airport earlier this month. Staff caught eight of the pupils on the spot and the stolen items were returned with apologies. Back in Japan, further investigation revealed that another thirteen kids had been involved bringing the number of culprits to 21 out of a total of 108 second year pupils on the trip. All were suspended from school for several days.
