Yomiuri: NPA to set up child crime squads / People acting suspiciously around children to be monitored, warned
The National Police Agency likely will introduce measures aimed at identifying people who are observed acting suspiciously around children, in an attempt to preventing serious crimes against minors such as abduction or murder, according to sources. The agency also is expected to begin collecting data from people involved in minor crimes and suspect actions involving children, such as recording such people's DNA on a database, the sources said. "We'll change our conventional attitude, which has been to act only after crimes are committed, and will instead adopt a more proactive stance toward cutting crime and eliminating the factors that cause fear in society," an NPA official said. "We expect it [the widened database] will assist investigations into unsolved cases and improve the crime-solution rate."

Hey, I don't know about you, but I have kids and I do hope people become paranoid about these monsters, you can never be too careful. There are a lot of nuts roaming the streets here and if the laws against these predators were more strict, I think these guys would think twice before approaching a child. Better safe than sorry, is my motto.

Not the sharpest knife in the drawer, are you...
And you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death

At least i'm comfortable enough with my sexuality (Jack calm down it's just an expression) to admit it.

At least I can admit an opps and move on...Most people (cough cough) no one here of course just rides the, "oh haha look at that other guy. Whatta idiot hahaha" boring knee jerk (another expression move on) response dribble.

Opps did another opps why did i start talking about sexuality on this thread?!8O
