Anyway... considering the current 'environment' of world markets/jobs/homes/etc., I've been thinking about presents I want to 'buy' family and friends this Christmas. I thought, 'why not give when I buy?'.
I found a couple nice charities where I can 'adopt' an endangered species (**** rating), or buy a 'gift animal' (***0 rating) to help the poor in developing nations. Both in someone else's name.. But I was wondering about local charities in Japan? Or region specific, such as Asia.
Any local or regional charities someone can recommend?
