Japan Photo Contest Winners

The winning photographs in the 69th International Photographic Salon of Japan are now available to view online here. You can also still look at entries from the previous two years of the competition. There is some overlap with entries to the All-Japan competition which you can see here. They are flash galleries which can be a bit of a pain to navigate but there are some good photographs if you can b bothered.

Those are nice. Thanks for the links Mulboyne. For what it's worth, if you click through to get an expanded version of the pictures, you end up on a screen that's a little easier to navigate (you can click on thumbnails one by one). I don't understand why so many web site designers feel the need to supplant the browser's built-in scrollbar with a "special" one provided by Flash...

Also of note, if you click through a second time, you can get a version with enough resolution to make a decent print (in fact, they have a "print" button on the web page and seem to be encouraging it).
