Flamers

Postby Jadic » Thu Jan 22, 2009 3:15 am

Look I dont know how everyone else feels. But how many people out there find it sad how many people suddenly are such strong opinioned jerks online when in everyday life theyre the docile reject you treat half decent cause you feel bad that they cant socialize right? Its amazing how many people insult and flame me when Im being myself. They call me a troll cause I use humor or they insult my intelligence because I put forth an idea they cant grasp but cant find the intellectual basis to refute the claim. Its gotten to a point where its really annoying. I wonder if anyone else out there has experienced this? If anyone has been through similar experiences post it here and let me know what happened and how you got these immature dicks to stop being so impolite.

yes indeed you must be correct on this new wave of trolling and impoliteness

I noticed some while ago a number of less openminded FG's had a hostile reaction to a thread which was getting flamboyantly effeminate. Part of the topic was about how somebody with 'style' wasn't allowed join the military

Coz in everyday life theyd get smashed into the pavement. The internet is free from reprisals. Dont let it bother you...the worst punishment is that they have to be them.

It's a shame ignoring people on this board will not hide threads they started.

Its gotten to a point where its really annoying. I wonder if anyone else out there has experienced this? If anyone has been through similar experiences post it here and let me know what happened and how you got these immature dicks to stop being so impolite.

Let me explain it this way:

When you're spouting off drivel in "real-life," you're likely surrounded by only a select type of individual: one who shares your faulty genetics, one foolish enough to associate with a man with an anchor tattooed on his lip, or one engaged in a similar $6.50/h work endeavor. These individuals are most likely unaware of how inane your ramblings are, and instead of harsh refute, you have probably become accustomed to them nodding along in agreement.

Obviously, posting online, where there's the chance that your words may be read by semi-coherent people, may be a bit jilting for you. Take the criticism in stride.

If you're really not a troll, then I apologize for the harsh words, and please accept my alternative explanation:

In real life, the shear magnitude of your presence simply renders people incapable of disagreeing with you. You have grown used to the yes-men who quiver at the manliness you exude in person, and the women who swoon on sight. When you post in a forum, we are immune to your awesomeness, so are capable of talking back. I know you tried to remedy this by posting a video of yourself and putting your picture in your avatar, but digital versions of yourself can only do so much. We need to experience the mighty aroma of Jadic in person to really succumb to your brilliance.

the internet also has its higher-than-usual share of pussies, too. but i didn't feel the need to start a thread about it and clog up an otherwise informative forum with my own personal self-centered bullshit.

Jadik,
what's a 'flamer'?
When I read the title of this thread, I though it was going to be about flamboyant homosexuals (not that I have anything against them) but I guess I was wrong. Are they idiots who start self-centered threads on internet forums about nothing just to trap dickheads like me into arguements? Do tell. Educate me, if you will.

P.S. Love the youtube post with your shirt off. Very sexy.:inlove:

Watched it twice...absolutely brilliant film. Marisa Tomei is excellent (and looks smoking) and Mickey Rourke is just great.

Flamers

Postby dimwit » Fri Jan 23, 2009 5:35 pm

Flamers also refer to farm machinery used to burn stubble and unwanted weeds. And I have always thought that they would have wonderful potential in Japan to be used in urban renewal.
