Aqua, mate, all your recent images are hotlinked which means a lot of people can't see them. You need to upload them to the FG image gallery and or else we'll end up with a lot of empty posts.

Who can't see them? They're all hotlinked through Flickr, which unofficially allows hot-linking. If it is causing trouble for anyone here, please speak up and I'll start uploading them here.

It'd be better if you'd upload them, so that the forum remains consistant over time. Hence, why we have a problem with them being hotlinked.

In my defense (hey, I need to put up a LITTLE fight, don't I?), my Flickr account expires in 2013, so the photos will be here at LEAST until then. HOWEVER I do see what you mean.

Images disappearing over time is one problem - which is why Ultra at first asked people to use their own image accounts (which you are doing) or else to upload images to the FG gallery. However, more recently, a number of users have pointed out that they can't see any hotlinked images at all so it is best just to upload straight to the gallery. I point it out because you have posted a lot of pics lately which will just be showing as blank posts for those guys.

Actually, even if your flickr pro account expires, you won't lose your photos...it will just turn into a free account, where the latest 200 uploads will be visible and your other uploads will not be but they still will be there. But with free accounts if you don't log in once every 90 days, they will delete everything

If your Pro account expires, don't panic! None of your photos or videos have been deleted! This means instead of enjoying the super-duper capacity of your Pro account, you're now subject to the limits of a free account. If you upgrade again, all of your photos will be waiting for you. I have a free account. Some of my photos aren't showing up. Why?

On a free account, Flickr limits the number of photos displayed.

Your photos are not removed from Flickr, only from the list of your photos. If you blogged a photo and it no longer appears in your list, it will still appear on your blog, and the photo's Flickr page will still work just fine.
