Even still, it only takes a few weeks to clear THC from your blood if you drink enough water, a month at most. Now assuming he did the June 2008 Sumo tour in LA, that's 2 months between his exposure to second hand smoke and the drug test. So unless he sucked up a dutch oven worth of second hand smoke, forgot to exhale, and drank nothing but bong water for 2 months, I'm going to have to let the brothers off on this one.

Well, the Russians had used some sort of Nihon Sumo Kyokai conspiracy as part of their defense. They claimed a Japanese rikishi (Wakakirin) also tested positive at the time they did, and was let go.
