Seems like he is too used to the furigana in his fave manga comics.

Most of the J-folks I know seem to think he is a joke - a pampered fop - that should be ousted soon. This from people who normally don't give politics much notice.

I know this is kind of crazy end of the world shit to be saying - especially in Japan but I predict a big, big change in Japan politics. Yes the Japanese have been sitting on their ass for a decade and a half doing next to nothing about the economic mess they are in.
However the Japanese themselves are slowly starting to get sick and tired
America has now lead by example and elected a person who some old Japanese rightwingers would call a N**** or an animal

Japanese are not like the political elite, I think they have eaten enough BS and will soon copy America's political revolution

You will see,
some crazy ass socialists will get in and grab more seats from Jiminto or maybe even 'one of those people' will take control of the LDP

Yen at 89 for the US Dollar, one thing that pisses of Japanese is losing money and people will go nuts over this shit

I get the horrible feeling that if your prediction for change does come about, these are the kind of people most voters will look for. They do have a prior, you know.
If there's any "change" a la the U.S., I'm sure it will move more to the right than the left.
I'm sure, though, when it comes to the crunch, the average Japanese voter will seek change, demand change, back reform, urge politicians to bring about a better, brighter future - and then vote for the LDP!

I have to agree to Yutairi.
Americans have a culture of challenging authorities. New idea generation is called innovation.
Japan is stratified and old practises which are already irrelevant and seldon challenged on the basis that it's Japanese culture (even when it's obviously not). New idea generation is called making trouble.
