Ski/Snowboard Ideas

Postby IkemenTommy » Tue Feb 03, 2009 9:54 am

I am planning for a ski and snowboarding trip this weekend and I need some advice from you seasoned, experienced FGs. Having an onsen in the vicinity is a definite plus factor. I don't mind driving on a roadtrip as it seems like most places require a car to get to and it seems cheaper than taking the train if I can pool enough people. Can you guys recommend any locations that is not so far from Tokyo for the weekend trip?

Thanks

Really depends on your level of skiing. Eichigo-yuzawa is super close and easy to get to, but I guess the runs are best described as family friendly.

Hit up Naeba, Hakuba, kurohime for great places.

You will find onsens everywhere up there. The hot stuff just pours out of the ground.

I don't do snow, so I guess I'll just have to go back to Roppogi and find something else that has the hot stuff is pouring out of it.......

I had a very similar question only my snowboarding trip is later this month. Anyone know if there is an onsen near Hachikita in Hyogo? I want to go and relax after three days of snowboarding.
