TBN WEDDING COMPANY GOES BANKRUPT

Postby OKLAHOMA » Wed Oct 29, 2008 9:48 pm

A large wedding services company, TBN, closed down, leaving over 500 employees in the lurch with unpaid salaries and an uncertain job future.

Anyone here involved in the wreckage?

I think TBN is (was) a company that dispatched fake ministers to fake churches (in hotels typically) to perform wedding ceremonies.

I don't know if it was the same company, but a guy I knew performed as a minister, or priest as appropriate, for a company that sent him around Japan by plane or shinkansen to do these weddings. He was paid quite handsomely. I don't know how the business is now, but it was a big time pay score for FGs at one time. Prior to this, I don't think my mate was ever close to a church unless he was casing it for a burglary....

I've been working with an agency like this for a long time now, although I've been semi-retired from it since last year. It's actually a lot of fun, and was definitely good for assuring bills got paid when full-time employment was hard to come by.
I have a blog. Last update: August 18, 2013.

Wasn't Leah Dizon the "spokesmodel" for that? It's a shame she ended up in a naka-dashi kon with some fagotty no-name tiny dick hair dresser.

She just made a public appearance with a month to go before her baby is due. I was wondering where to post the picture but this seems like a good enough excuse.

It is better to hire a wedding minister rather than facing hurdles in large hustle bustle.
