I actually thought the program has gotten more interesting recently. They've done quite a lot of episodes out of the studio, including trips to the US, live shows outside of Tokyo, a trip to some weird-ass English learning village in Korea, and a few other adventures. And no, I am not even remotely tired of watching Oshikiri Moe!

NHK was really milking the viewer fees to go to the exotic locations around the world.

I always thought Oshikiri Moe was nothing more than an useless eye candy that was terrible on talk shows.

Never really watched the show much, but listening to friends who did and they all seemed to say it started going downhill when Moe replaced Yumiko Shaku, who had much such an impact on its initial success.
Moe just seems "manufactured" in every way for mine, though it's a bit unfair to comment because I think I maybe only saw her on the show once or twice.

If that means seeing that FG (Patrick?) less on TV it's a good thing!

Someone told me Thane Camus was in some kind of fight with a talent agency and kind of got black-listed. I think he has his own talent agency now. At least I think that's the story. Of course, if I'm wrong I might be starting a bad rumor...

I kind of thought he was talking down to the FGs on Funniest Japanese or whatever it was called.

I'll add something I just made up about Thane Camus, just to stir the pot. He's known to have frequently visited Gary Glitter in SE Asia.

Thane used to work with R&A Promotions, along with Bobby Ologon, and both of them supposedly had trouble the agency ripping them off. I side with them, since I did a couple of jobs with R&A several years back and the assholes never paid me, either.
I have a blog. Last update: August 18, 2013.
