Researcher found dead in wood dehydrator

TOTTORI--A researcher of the Tottori prefectural forestry research institute was found dead inside a wood dehydrator at the institute early Sunday.
Police believe Chieko Ohira, 45, head of the institute's office that studies the use of wood, died of heatstroke after being locked inside the dehydrator, where it was set to maintain a temperature of 45 C and 71 percent humidity.
