That's why I still do consulting for customers in the United States... that money gets directly deposited to my account at home. I still make money here (of which the wife controls), but I don't feel totally out of the power loop.

Most of the single guys I know have a "List" of features/characteristics they are looking for in a girlfriend/wife.. usually they are completely outrageous and don't leave any room for the unexpected gem that may be hiding in a different "package".

picking out a lady is like buying a car, you want to knock the tires, check the engine, get in it and run it as hard as you can, see how she holds up, then take her back, work out the details, and make your purchase.

Later on you may want to upgrade her if she starts giving you major trouble. Sometimes you want to send her in for maintenance, body work, and a thorough cleaning.

Honestly,
I don't give a rats ass what she looks like. If she is tolerable, I can accept her. I think getting along with someone is more important than the short term skin deep beauty that attracts you. After 20 years, she's going to look different, and you're going to be left out in the cold if you fell for her based on her looks.

I think attraction is important, and people get attracted for different reasons. I think the soul, spirit, personality, etc.. keep you with her.

i didn't say it was what i look for first and then i stop there. i said it is a sine qua non to qualify as my girl instead of say "a very dear friend". i am very picky with all the people i get involved with. guys and girls, friends and lovers alike. except, i need beauty in my special one.
