Not really a Random Gaijin shot. Here's Bill Murray at a recent pro-am golf tournament wearing what news reports described as "a kimono". Perhaps because he is known for appearing in "Lost in Translation", he was greeted everywhere with "konnichiwa".

Great promo shots, but I can't help but wonder just how many dozen filters were used.
Never criticize anyone until you've walked several kilometres in their shoes.
Because

1. You're now several kilometres away; and

2. You've got their shoes.

I'm impressed that people would know actually "konnichi wa".

But... Isn't that a Chinese whatever-it-is?
Looks like it's for a woman, too - I wonder where he picked that up, though I'm sure my fellow FGs will have some interesting ideas about that...

Yeah, it's him all right - I googled for pics to be sure - more photos...
here and here.

Damn! Seeing people grow older is soo depressing; FGs, of course, like Urashima, never age while residing in the Dragon's lair ...

The white sign on the left is for an association of people who have blackbelts in Shorinji Kempo. Not that it's relevant or anything....

I have been seeing an advertising poster with this Gai-goku guy for several weeks, but this keitai photo (2009-03-14--16:00:14 KDDI-SA) just showed up on twitter Japan, which appears to be a legit film shoot.
