Travel Agencies with English websites that.....

Postby Edsheadsaid » Sun Mar 29, 2009 6:54 pm

Actually offer deals online to people living IN Japan??

Sorry if this has been covered before, but I can't find a single fecking travel agency based in Japan with a) an English website, and b) package deals/tours etc that are available to residents.

Has anyone got any useful suggestions, or reliable/cheap/friendly options? Thanks in advance!

Ah thanks a bunch for that link, I couldn't find that thread because of course travel is spelt 'TRAVAL' for some reason. I should have anticipated that.

Cheers!

Never assume gaijin in Japan have a grasp of the English language. Especially those from English-speaking countries.

Anyway, the powers that be have fixed the thread spelling so we can find it again in the future.

Thanks be to the powers that.....be.

And fear not, I have already seen my English vocab decline, and I was never that good at spelling to begin with.

Thanks again.

You can call an IACE in the us if all else fails. They have offices in NY, Boston and LA.

Me too. They haven't been completely crap which is about as much as you can recommend a travel agency these days.

I use GM Travel Not necessarily an on-line agent but I do everything with them by email and never go into the office. The office is in Shinjuku Gyoenmae.

All speak English. Not a huge company but all the people are super friendly. I have asked them to do stuff for me like booking boats, busses etc that I can't do on my own due to difficult to negotiate call centres or sites and they do it for a fee like a concierge service.

Likewise. No problems with IACE to-date.

2. You've got their shoes.
