Pearls of Wisdom for a Better Life "How to Eat Japanese Food"
During a meal, you should enjoy it and not make other people feel uncomfortable. There are several ways to eat Japanese foods with grace.
For your reference, some representative ways will be introduced.
..
If several covered dishes in which Nimono foods are served are placed in front of you, you should place the covers according to the following rule: If the dishes are placed on your right hand, place the covers on the right side. If the dishes are placed on your left hand, place the covers on the left side. It is a bad manner to stick chopsticks into slippery foods, such as simmered Satoimo taros.
..more..

I'm still a fan of this guide to sushi:

Great Rahmenz inspiration here!
Here's another one from Meguro that among other things tells us not to "step on Tatami mats' border/joint" - Like the childhood rhyme "Step on a crack and you'll break your mothers back", could that cause injury to our respective Okaasans? Who knew?
I'm looking forward to more in the future, such as:

Pearls of Wisdom - how to perform a proper public Oshikko.

•Unzip with left hand

•Expose and grasp ochinpo-sama with right hand, using your left hand to shield face from passers by; make a special effort to do so if you are in an area where you might be recognized.

•Do not relieve yourself in your neighbors shrubbery. Make every effort to find an unknown dwelling to moisten.

•Unless very drunk, do not relieve yourself on public shrines or religous statues

Other Pearls could cover the proper etiquette for:
•Public barfing, Wafu Style
•Public "Sleeping" after hard partying
•The Way of Upskirt Photography
•Proper Manners for Arranging an enjo kosai

The list could go on and on...
