A Tokyo Etiquette Problem

ZakZak reports (Japanese) that, one evening last week, a car pulled up abruptly on the shoulder of a road near a love hotel district and a man got out shouting. It turned out that he had arranged a blind date with a girl over a dating site and had just picked her up. However, she wasn't quite what he was expecting and so he told her "You're fat. Get out". Furious, she pulled out some kind of cutter knife from her bag and slashed him on the hand and back. She fled from the scene and the man did not attempt to give chase. Japan's netizens think the man might have been a little more gracious or at least refused to let her get in the car when they met. Most agree, however, that he was probably better off not taking it any further with a woman who carries a knife around in her handbag.

Guy got what he deserved. I don't know why the guy do that to the girl, big girls need loving too.

No deservesed to get stabbed for acting like a complete jerk. He should have handled it like a gentleman and let her down easily, instead of the, "you are fat, get out."

What I'm wonder is how did this even become news, and why would the guy be willing to quote what he said?

Yeah, it happens, but are those girls ever going to meet a nice guy in person. Imagine how the girl must have felt, she gets asked out on a nice date by this guy she met online, and yeah, she may have neglected to mention that she might have been a bit over-weight. Her weight is probably the reason she depends so much on online dating in the first place. She meets this guy who she probably thinks is going to be a really nice guy and look past her weight problem and like her for who she really is. But, no, the guy turns out to be another jerk and not only tells her to her face that she is fat, but tries to kick her out the car. Yeah, if I was her, I would probably cut the fucker too.

Yeah, he handled it poorly, and I hope if you or I were in that situation we would handle it better. I guess the moral of story is never piss off fat girls you meet from the internet, they could be knife-weilding psychos.

Well I kinda figured that since the car was stopped in front of a love hotel, not really, in the chick flic sense of the word, a romantic date. I should have just left out "nice date", and used "night of fucking" instead.
