The city of Fujinomiya in Shizuoka Prefecture is caught up in a row with an environmental group over using rainbow trout as its official fish.
Fujinomiya hopes to make rainbow trout, native to the coastal area rivers of north-western North America, a centerpiece of the city's tourism marketing.
