Asshole hits 20% in the opinion polls and they fire a Tepodon, the Minshuto change their leader and the opinion polls favor them of the Asshole LDP crime syndicate with PM asshole looking more and more like the CHINPIRA he really is and NK tests a nuke!

Jeez, not this shit again. The great cold war scam is over. The only real die hard capitalists are now in Russia and China. Not in the USSA.

BULL wrote:The only thing we can do military wise is wait, policy wise keep getting fucked in the ass. Moving the capital would be the best option, as already mentioned, problem is Seoul is fucking huge and there are still many S. Koreans who think Kim-bob is harmless.

Yeah... bad luck NK don't have any fuel, because in this case it would be the next Mickeyland for Halliburton and Blackwater... sorry... Xe...

Only option moving the capital ? so that's what people call option now ?

Also, form what I understood, SKoreans are dead scared of any kind of reunification after seeing the toll it took on Germany.

BULL wrote:I personally don't think the N. Koreans will make it past the first McDonalds they run into, they are a starving nation after all

Here we totally agree... And that's how I don't understand the NK situation. Iraq was not an easy place under Saddham. But if you were willing to STFU you could somewhat feed everybody in your family have a car and a house and someone to hate more than your leader (I/E the US) Which in fact is a somewhat better -basic- life than in France, because having a house there is borderline on science fiction and you can't hate somebody more than Sarkozy 1st he's shtooping Carlita Bruny 2nd he's the biggest idiot to access presidency since... W Bush... and Tony Blair (glorious times we are all living in...). But in NK... there is not even food... so... ok, you can fight with an empty stomach. But when you have nothing to lose... usually you revolt . That's what happened in France in 1789. Political clusterfuck... shoganai... no food... head started to roll... literally...

What I fear is that NK maneuvers itself into a corner, and whips itself into such a frenzy that it sees war as the only answer.

Coligny,

Your right, if North Korea actually had something to offer us like Oil than things would be totally different. Instead, it's just a dirt poor country with more weapons than food and only a couple of friends. If those weapons weren't pointed at nations that we trade with on a daily basis, then we probably wouldn't have paid them any mind, like say they were somewhere in South America or Africa, then the USA would probably not even give a fuck (until the Nuclear test that is, then we would have cared). Not trying to offend anyone from South America or Africa, but it's the truth. What we really need to do is; take off the superman uniform and retire that shit for good. Of course I don't mean withdraw from South Korea (they would be fucked), but could we please stop talking about invading/attacking other countries? I think we've reached our quota already for this century

Haha, moving the capital was just a joke ;)

And that's probably what Kim will do if he thinks he's losing control. South Korea already cut back on it's food aid because of previous missle tests but the US won't because if we stop feeding them, then they will really have no choice but to attack. Hopefully they don't because alot of people will die.

Bush cut the US food aid to NK by 90% during his "Axis of Evil" period. The US isn't feeding them, and that may be why they're doing the traditional North Korean missile and bomb demonstration. They don't have anything else to bargain with. I also read that the test was not as large as first reported, as usual, and it may have been another failed test.

I have no doubt that they will sacrifice some of their military in a response to any boarding of ships. They would even initiate some action, if nothing happens to provoke them. It's to show their resolve and scare the living shit out of Japanese and American newspaper and TV reporters.

Just give them some food and money, for heaven's sake. It cheap and easy.

Good point (I need to do better research). Food aid was highest right at the end of the Clinton Administration. Also, I forgot we put them on the terror list and cut the aid. Well, the way the economy is going and the probability that future aid will be cut further and the fact that North Koreans will continue to starve will put Kimmy in such a situation that who knows what he will do.

South America was a bad example...

I think the best thing that could happen would be for one of NK's shitty missiles to go off course and land in China or Russia. Either country would steamroll its way to the DMZ within a couple of weeks.

(3rd LD) N. Korea gearing up to test-fire missiles on both coasts

SEOUL, June 2 (Yonhap) -- North Korea appears to be preparing on both coasts to test-fire some of its most sophisticated ballistic missiles, stoking regional tensions already running high after its second nuclear test last week, South Korean sources said Tuesday.

As usual, the leaders of the free world "condemn" and just watch the whole thing unfold.

Kim Jong Il has anointed his 26-year-old son _ said to be competitive, proficient in English and a heavy drinker _ as the next leader of the communist state, news reports said Tuesday. Two major South Korean newspapers said Tuesday that North Korea's military, party and government officials were informed that Kim Jong Un, the youngest of three, is in line to take the world's first communist dynasty into a third generation.
The announcement was made in the days after North Korea's provocative May 25 nuclear test, the Hankook Ilbo newspaper reported, citing unnamed South Korean lawmakers briefed by the spy agency.
The son already is being hailed as "Commander Kim," and North Koreans are learning the lyrics to a new song praising him as the next leader, the Dong-a Ilbo newspaper said. South Korean lawmaker Park Jie-won told a radio show Tuesday that the regime already is "pledging its allegiance to Kim Jong Un." He said he was briefed by South Korea's spy agency.

North Korea Calls for End to Hostile U.S. Relations

Postby FG Lurker » Fri Jan 01, 2010 12:23 pm

North Korea Calls for End to Hostile U.S. Relations
Bloomberg, January 1, 2010
North Korea issued a New Year's message calling for an end to its "hostile relationship" with the U.S. and said the regime is committed to making the Korean peninsula nuclear-free.

The country's "consistent stand" is to establish a "lasting peace" on the peninsula and make it "nuclear-free through dialogue and negotiations," the state-run Korean Central News Agency reported.

The government will "strive to develop relations of good neighborliness and friendship" with other countries, KCNA said, citing a joint editorial in three official newspapers.

The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older
