A new room for women called "Refresta" ("REFREsh STArt") has opened at JR Yokohama Station. It includes facilities for make-up, breast-feeding and nappy-changing and costs 200 yen for 30 minutes. It is the result of a customer survey which asked female commuters what services they most wanted and is the first to be set up on the JR network. Men were also asked what they wanted but police advised JR East that such services were illegal.

My wife and I will be anxiously awaiting, planning to be amongst the first of your customers, your opening one up here in Nishi-Shimojita, Saitama-ken. I guess JR is considering building a station here on the new line to Tokyo.
