I'd have to agree. He'd involuntarily kill every single person who tried to shake his hand.

I had to vote for Willis, but if only I had more poll options, we could get the Baldwins, the Sheens and more...

How can anyone not vote for Vin Diesel as the worst possible President? The guy has no brains. At least Seagal has some fighting skills and experience in Japan. Bruce Willis and Wesley Snipes are pretty good actors, which speaks to their intelligence (at least more intelligence than the other guys in the list). Stallone would be my second-worst choice, but at least he's been around longer than Vin.

Diesel was just a bouncer at a nightclub and has no redeeming qualities.

Ronald Reagan.. hang on - he has already been a president..

Steven Seagal is a sleazy slimey crook. Plus his movies are so cheesy they make me want to retch. But then again the whole good guy/evil guy seems to work well in presidential politics these days so he might actually have shot. Very scary.

although i hate his guts, i have to say this is quite incomplete...

some fan site wrote:Vin wrote a short film called Multi-Facial (1994), which was eventually accepted for the 1995 Cannes Film Festival where it got a tumultuous reception.

Afterwards, Vin returned to Los Angeles and raised almost $50,000 through telemarketing to fund the making of his first feature, Strays (1997). Six months after shooting, the film was accepted for the 1997 Sundance Film Festival, and although it received a good reception, it didn't sell as well as hoped. Yet again Vin returned disappointed to New York only to receive a dream phone call. Steven Spielberg was impressed by Multi-Facial (1994) and wanted to meet Vin, leading him to be cast in Saving Private Ryan (1998). Multi-Facial (1994) earned Vin more work, when the director of Iron Giant, The (1999) saw it and decided to cast Vin in the title role. From there, Vin's career has steadily grown, with him securing his first lead role as 'Richard B Riddick' in the sci-fi film Pitch Black (2000).

it's only after pitch black that he decided to play the no brainer in no brainer movies... but he does have potential...

OK, so Vin has a redeeming quality (he wrote a good script)...uh, does that make him a better hypothetical president than Seagal? Nah. Anyway, didn't Seagal write or direct a few of his own (albeit lousy) movies? I just can't disparage a guy whose last name is the English equivalent of mine. :D

wait wait... i didn't say i would vote for vin for president either!! :) :) :)

i'm just saying he's not such a bad actor and he made two movies, one who made its way to cannes, and the other one to sundance. let's be honest here, not many people had one or the other, let alone both.

what i'm saying here is that movies like the fast and the furious make me sad because this guy could do much more. that's all.

to go back to seagal, he did direct On Deadly Ground (1994) and write Out for a Kill (2003) (completed) and Above the Law (1988).

You forgot an even worse pukefest, Triple X. I actually liked Fast and the Furious.

XXX was a fun movie. And that is all it was meant to be. A filmed roller coaster. Pure fantasy. And that is its redeeming quality.

Katakori,
Say what you want about Will Smith, But the man has made WISE film choices. He hasn't had a serious bomb yet. Wild Wild West was a bit of a flop, but it did well in video sales in rentals.

He is ALSO an Oscar nominated actor.

He is also the ONLY rapper other than Queen Latifah to move into a successful film career. In fact, he is one of the few musical artists to do this. But I think Will Smith is not really a rapper, but a comedian that tells jokes in the form of rap (thats what his raps were at first).
I will not abide ignorant intolerance just for the sake of getting along.

i did like dj jazzy jeff and the fresh prince and i did like the prince in bel air series. smith was good in them. but that doesn't make him unguilty of having ruined practically all movies he has played in, since. those could have had a chance to be "good" movies, instead of "blockbusters" for the masses (yes, i know i'm being pretentious in this sentence. i just believe people can always learn from something of quality, instead of being force-fed something easy to swallow). and the fact that he's an oscar nominee is a mystery to me, i have to say.

to compare it with another "disappointing" (yet not "bad" as such) actor, i would say will smith must be difficult to direct, just as eddie murphy must be easy to direct, AND is a lousy director. murphy was an hilarious stand-up comedian, and a very good comedy actor, until he decided to make his own movies and screw it all. i'm just waiting for the days smith manages to find a way to make something good...
