Job Counsellor Set On Fire By Disgruntled Client

Reuters: Jobless Japanese woman sets fire to work counsellor
An unemployed Japanese woman was arrested on Wednesday for setting a job agency worker on fire for failing to find her work, causing serious injuries. "She couldn't get me a job so I set her on fire with a lighter," a police official in Noda, near Tokyo, quoted the 45-year-old woman as saying. The woman set fire to the worker after splashing her with gasoline from a plastic bottle, the official said. She was rushed to hospital by helicopter. The job agency worker, who was on her way to work, sustained burns to the upper half of her body, the Yomiuri newspaper said. She was seriously injured but conscious. Japan's jobless rate rose to a new 5-1/2-year high of 5.2 percent in May and job availability sank to a record low as companies worried over the outlook for the economy, just coming off its worst recession since World War Two.

This Kyodo story identifies the agency as a Hello Work office.

Now she definitly is not getting a job, :flame: she didn't have to take her frustration out on some person that was trying to help her. Lighting herself on fire would have been more noble.
I am not really sure where I am going, I just hope that when I get there, I can sit down because I am sure my feet will be tired.

Beg to differ. She will be getting a job, although punching out license plates might not have been the one she wanted.....

An unemployed Japanese woman was arrested

Interesting. On the news last night they said the attacker was a gaijin and gave a Kanji name that I guessed was Chinese or possibly Korean. Now I just googled this article up:

Police arrested a 45-year-old woman who gave her name as Fan Yuping on suspicion of attempted murder. The suspect said she lived in Kashiwa, Chiba Prefecture.

Her nationality remained unclear.

I felt like setting fire to a Hello Work officer once. Was looking to make a break from teaching before setting up my own thing when I went in there, and they suggested that because I was white, all i could do was teach English. They weren't even willing to look at the alternatives, the bastards. Now that I know I should have set them on fire, I think I'll have better results if there's ever a next time.

Inquiry to silly gaijin correspondents who are compassionate to Chinese and Korean. This assailant was reported as Chinese in written-in-Japanese medias. Of course, there is also a possibility that she is a descendant of Japanese orphans in China. But if so by any chance, they are not Japanese because their mentality are already chinized to a large extent. And this sort of ruthless criminal technique is unique to Chinese, as you dudes know.
