I wanted to talk about the bittersweetness of dating a fob or language-learner. It's cool bcuz they have that authentic foreigner appeal, and you wouldn't like them speaking full English, yet after awhile if you guys literally can't talk because of one's partner not having enough vocab. or comprehension, than it becomes annoying and can ruin the relationship/friendship.

Then there's also the person who liked you because of the cute way you spoke their native tongue like an elementary school student. That's the version of you they like being around. Even after you learn, would you purposely dumb yourself down just to be more liked/accepted? If your gf/bf's English became too good to the point where you no longer liked them the same way as before, would you want them to dumb themselves down?
