Some things really should be saved for the bedroom, or whatever private space floats your fantasy. That being a common sight on the streets would represent a seriously f*cked up society. Akihabara, once a mecca for committed electronic geekdom, has sort of gone that way in spots, now catering to the adolescent sexual fantasies of a totally different kind of geek (the term "waste of space" springs to mind). As a result the crime and yak infiltration rates have risen markedly. It is a district in decline.
