i was horribly drunk on a plane once. well, got drunk before the flight and then had a few more on the plane. jesus h christ was that the worst hangover of my life. i can't understand WHY anyone would get trashed on the plane. just pop a halcion and sleep!

I made the mistake of trying to get hammered on my way to Japan, once, just once. I also got the worst hangover ever. Now I just wait till I exit Narita and grab a cool one out of the vending machine like normal drunks.

yep, it was a dubai to japan flight that i was hammered on. i'd had 2 bottles of wine at dinner with a friend pre-flight, then a few more on the way to the airport. nearly missed my plane, and as i went running for the gate, i stopped in front of a chemist and currency exchange point. knowing i only had time for either painkillers or changing money, i opted for the painkillers (which did no good anyway). then i landed in osaka and discovered that the dirham is not changable in japan. and i had 2500USD worth of it.

i learned a LOT of lessons in that 24 hours...
