This is my first post. So hello to everybody some of the post very entertaining indeed.

Now fo rthe more serious matter. The topic of sweaty balls, the last topic was about to stop the sweat but this is worse. As I come from a cold country there isnt much chance of getting a sweaty sac. But things have very much changed now that I have came to japan. I have managed to pick up Jock Itch(online diagnosys(by myself)) Anyway can anybody tell me the name of anything I can stop it its driving me spare. A name of someting i can get over the counter would be the best. Also the name of an actual chain of chemists(as I havent a clue why chemests only sell dog food and hair dye) If you have the same problem tell me what to do i am pleading for my sanity. Anyway Private message me if you dont want otheres to know that you have the same problem.

Really dont stress me out worse than I am. I cant even speek enough japanese to order suki yaki.

Also I wouldnt even go to a white doctor back home. I am deffinatly not going to go to a foreign one who knows what he will think of my big whitie. He will probably the the whole department to take a poke at it.

Get a dermatologist to do the diagnosis... once that fungus gets inside you, it's hell to get out.

Also be warned that many kinds of Japanese TA-MUSHI crotchrot will EAT soap as well cornstarch-based body powder. Don't feed them! GO to a doctor cause the drugstore crap is urr, ummmm, CRAP.

Without getting too graphic, it's not that far from where your current problems are and where they could go less than six inches south. That would then take your fungus up into your body, where it would have a wonderful time spreading out. A good indicator that you have an internal fungus infection is that you start getting athlete's foot fungus growing in your toenails.

BTW: If you want until *after* you get the infection, you'll be on liver-damaging medicine for 6 months, then it will take another year or so of external medicine before it goes away... and it really never goes away.

Ramchop: Yes i have seen the Adds on telly for foot stuff and I would buy it but the chemist sell nothing unless my dog had crotch rot. Guess your just gonna hafta wash your boys several times a day and make sure you wear clean underthings, possibly changing them several times a day as well. But get yourself to a doctor right quick and don't be such a big baby. What you have to go through will be less than 100th of what us gals have to endure.

Make sure you wear (clean), loose cotton boxers and loose trousers made from natural fibres for a while. Bathing/showering in very hot water is a big no-no and don't use perfumed soaps. (many soaps and body washes have bucketloads of perfumes in them.)

Thanks for the advice I plan on going to Tokyo Medical and Surgical Clinic now but at 12,000 just for a consulatation is a little expensive. I hope they give me a perscription after the first visit or i will have to do a runner. Its pretty hard not having a hot shower as I live in a dorm and its a onsen style bathroom.
