TOKYO, January 14 (Itar-Tass) - Japanese scientists and the administration of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) have agreed to cooperate in a search for the whole body of the Ice Age extinct elephant relative, mammoth, in the Yakut tundra. They plan to display the fossil mammal at the World Expo-'05 in Aichi Prefecture.... the head of the future exhibition item has already been found. The mammoth head is now kept in liquid nitrogen at one of Yakut institutes. The search for the mammoth body and other parts is to be mounted in the spring of this year.
