comiketto anyone?

yes, I want to go to comiket. or whatever the spelling of that manga convention is in Japan.

but is it true? a line 5 miles long? or longer? that seems impossible.


i barely speak any japanese. I barely know hiragana and katakana.

i hope that my wordtank G90 will help me out with the kanji though.

My son has dragged me to a couple of kids anime conventions in Makuhari and they were hell. Nowhere to sit down and hardly anywhere to stand without having people bump into you. If Dante were alive he could have drawn ideas from it.

Isn't that pretty much true of any event at Makuhari?...but Comiket is held at Tokyo Big Site on Odaiba

Comiket is a glorified illegal cartoon porn festival... so keep that in mind before you start reading anything. Also, I would imagine that the people who attend tend to be somewhat secretive when it comes to 'outsiders' given the subject matter and the types of groups who make the comics.

...oh, and they're known for being pretty smelly.
