Apple Safari browser

Postby American Oyaji » Thu Sep 17, 2009 8:22 am

I just installed Safari 4 and DAAANG it's fast.

It's so fast, it's almost like I've gotten an extremely better internet connection.

Anyone else using Safari?

Yes, Safari 4 with the new Apple OS 10.6 was a bit snappier* however Safari on Windows is a dog.

*Sadly OS 10.6 does not have a print driver
for my Canon LBP-1120 and the generic Laser
Printer driver doesn't work. In addition, OS 10.6 won't run
several of my audio apps I use for work so I had
to un-install it and go back to OS 10.5.8.

Using it on 10.6.1 on three separate machines, two intel based, and it rocks on all of them!

Didn't pay close attention, but the last iPhone sync with the updated iTunes seemed a lot faster than usual...

Updated to snow leopard the other day - combined with the new 3.1 iPhone SDK it is incredible for making stuff.

Dashcode is my new fave dev app that makes mobile safari and safari sites together using drop and drag... even an incompetant coder like me can make decent iphone sites. Just haven't tested anything that is made on IE browsers yet - they are usually the ones that cause grief..... IE is the worst.
