The audience of Japanese talento laughed at the poor little cub writhing in mortal fear...

This CHARGE that Japanese Celebs. were laughing at a Bear being tortured is complete and utter BULLSHIT!

First of all, lets clear tha air about one thing: That bear was in a KOREAN ZOO being tormented by KOREAN ANIMAL TRAINERS using other animals to torment the little bear.

Secondly, I just got done watching the entire Episode of "Unbelievable" and the Celebs were laughing not at the bear being tormented; they were laughing (at first) at the little bear because he looked so cute.

Finally, after the ENTIRE clip was done, the Celebs. said that they felt sorry for the little bear.

So, it really disgust me on how "Japan Probe" put an entire SPIN on what was actually the truth about what Fuji TV broadcasted and the ridiculous charge that Japanese Celebs think animal cruelty is amusing.

"Japan Probe" posted small little clips (out of context) that makes it seem like the celebs thought it was funny to see the bear being tormented by KOREAN ANIMAL TRAINERS.

I know Tokoro-san, and I guarantee you 100%, he would never ever take amusement in any Animal cruelty what so ever.

I think "Japan Probe" should issue an apology to those Celebs on their website and to Fuji TV for that kind of slander.

Fuck, you are delusional.

Look at the untalented morons in the small screen. yes, thats right, the dickheads doing those fucking idiotic seal claps while laughing their little arses off. Just goes to show how easily amused people are over here. its like, "oh, a talentless moron is seal clapping, so I better seal clap and laugh my arse off too. Wouldnt wanna be left out". Follow the heard.

Idiots.

Ok, yea I get it; "when in Rome do what the Romans do", but if you watched the entire segment of the show, and not just the little clips, the Celebs did comment that they felt sorry for the little bear.

I just think "Japan Probe" should make it clear that these were Koreans doing this to this bear.

Why did "Japan Probe" not focus on that?

That's all I'm saying...

If you actually visited the Japan Probe website and read the entire post, not just some little segment, you'd see that it was made abundantly clear where the clips came from, and not come off as such an arse...:biggrin2:

I mean, is anyone really surprised? This is probably the best entertainment that you can get in Japan since almost 40% of J-TV is geared towards food and then it trickles down to boring Soaps, Baseball and Shogi. Cable TV is pretty much crap, SkyPerfect a few channels, but now that Nickolodean, Bloomberg TV(just to name a few)have gotten the AXE, the selection option
has fallen yet again another notch.
So I guess, this is Prime Time TV for them. Entertainment at its best!
These people think that this shit is so funny, how about waiting about a year and a half and having them try it out themselves get in with the bear and let's see the outcome then. Now that would be REAL Entertainment!

It got nothing to do with the source of the clip. If you were watching a clip of some al-kaida members beheading a guy with a knife and laughing your ass off I would have to agree there is something very wrong with you no matter the clip origin is from another country.
I am not a gentle soul and still my heart twitched in pain watching the first moments of the clip. For a broadcaster to air this as entertainment and for those 'talents' to laugh at the 'cuteness' of the terrified cub is beyond sick, it's sad.
But there is no cure for that sort of moral blindness.
My one regret in life is that I am not someone else.

OK....I have to disagree with you guys. It's not a human, it's a BEAR. An animal and I think that it's reaction is TOTALLY abnormal. The bear flipped out over just being near something other than human or bear. That is an interesting reaction. I didn't find it funny, but I don't think that people finding humor in it is "oh so bad".

and... because of that, nobody there seems to be able to make the connection between this kind of broadcast (there are many, but most seem to focus an human bullying for laughs) and the widespread ijimeru problem in schools, sports, etc.

They didn't show the part where they whipped out the chainsaw and lopped off the bear cub's four feet for a new batch of Korean natural brand "viagra". That would have probably got some real laughs and maybe even a couple of uuhs and ahhhs...

Korea used to be the biggest violator in the illicit import of bear paws for their male menopause....

Are you now an expert on bear cub behavior?

Just because it's not as bad as them abusing a baby doesn't mean it's not bad.

Just imagine if you put yourself (or your baby) in that little bear's position and you have a bunch of bears laughing at your expense. Will you still be laughing?
