Fun quote for the day...

.....Yumiko Tsukuda, founder of a small publishing company on a small island. "Books are like kimono: Everyone agrees that they are wonderful, yet less and less people buy them."....

By that logic, kimono are like books?

Well the kimono is no longer worn by the majority of modern day Japanese people because people prefer western clothes.
Well from what I see on the train rides I guess I would have to agree that not that many people are reading books compared to those thumbing their keitais or playing with DSs or PSPs, but I don't think that people are not buying books because they don't want to read any more, but the majority of people prefer to watch TV, use computers, or do anything but read.
I am not really sure where I am going, I just hope that when I get there, I can sit down because I am sure my feet will be tired.
