Narita Yokoso Random Gaijin Picture Maker

Postby omae mona » Wed Oct 21, 2009 11:15 pm

I don't know how I missed this before. Please, if anybody is in Narita Terminal 1, can you stop by their new kiosk and test out this servicefor us?

A digital photo montage machine, HENSHIN SHASHINKAN, will be installed in the area after passport control on the 3rd floor Central Building of Terminal 1 on Monday, 6 July 2009!

Select a theme of your choice at the studio and take a snapshot for a picture of yourself transformed within minutes into a character from a costume drama.

There are 12 different themes to choose from including delightful and entertaining backgrounds of Mount Fuji, samurai house and various other tourist attractions in Japan for everyone to enjoy. The natural-looking photographs that are generated using the latest digital synthesis techniques are well worth seeing. Why not get a photo to take home with you as a memento of your pleasant trip to Japan?

Sure!
I will have hours to kill in Narita this Sunday.

(However, somehow I think my photoshops are better.)

If you had hours to kill, then I suggest using the lounge. Narita omiyage shops only sell garbage for the tourist foreigners.

Wait that can't be true! They sell Tokyo Banana at those gift shops.

That's next door in the Chemist's Shop advertising medicine to get rid of the nagging jet lag headache.

Probably gives an entirely new meaning to the term "splitting headache," too.
