Bullshit. That's not what you have been saying up to now. And I do not claim to be the only one with experience. I was telling you to kiss my ass because you attempted to patronize me, you worthless puke.

Gaisaradatsuraku! wrote:In spite of this your 3 years of "base work" and 14 years as an English teacher in the mountains qualifies you as someone entitled to an opinion?

You know nothing of my experience. I was living in Tokyo until recently. And I am not an "English teacher in the mountains." I bet you couldn't even find Niigata on a map.

Gaisaradatsuraku! wrote:Come back to the real world dude. For an educated professional your message was laden with so many errors and gaffs that it made me cringe. You wouldn't last two fucking seconds in your own culture.

Point out the errors, if you can. And I don't give a crap about "my own culture." How ironic that you would say such a thing, seeing as you are a tourist wannabe whose only claim to Japaneseness is one fourth of his DNA.

Gaisaradatsuraku! wrote:and, Pops, don't even talk about careers. I very likely paid more in alimony last year than you earned in the last decade. Get real pops, you live in Nigata. There is nothing up there. Who do you think you are kidding?

Again, your ignorance shines. I could buy you with pocket change.

For a "professional" you don't make a whole lot of sense. First you claimed that extensive living experience "qualified" you and not me for an opinion. Unfortunately for you, however, your experience pales to your's truly. I am Japanese. You are just a pathetic Arkie who latched on to the country as a way to get out of his own miserable past. You are a poseur, a wannabe, a pathetic pasty faced white boy in a sea of yellow and you are so brilliant you have forgotten why you are there.

Here is the answer: You had nothing to leave behind.

Now, go and fucking salute yourself Private Asswipe.

Bullshit, ween. I told you not to patronize me as if I were a newbie. That is all, you selective-reading twerp.

Gaisaradatsuraku! wrote:Unfortunately for you, however, your experience pales to your's truly. I am Japanese.

Don't make me laugh. You are as Japanese as those "Asian-American" elitist losers at Berkeley who think they actually know anything about Asia past what they see in the mirror.

Oooohhhh. Your insults are so original and insightful. I haven't heard anyone ever use the words Turd and Munch in the same sentence (well there was that Beavis and Butthead movie....so you are in good company).

As far as elitism is concerned. Yeah, I am elitist but I did not attend Berkely. I am graduate of a much finer institution on the East Coast. But the real reason I am an elitist in comparison to you is simply because I have far greater ability. That has nothing to do with where I went to school or what my parents/grandparents did for a living.

In fact, one of the smartest people I know is an Arkie and he came from nothing. He, however, was a million to one shot. You are back there with the rest of the million.

As as far as me misquoting you. Get a grip. I said that you sound like a newbie to Japan and you certainly do (maybe that is because you just don't have an original bone in your body and wind up aping what the rest of your ilk spouts). You came back at me with your 17 years in Japan diatribe. Meaningless stats my friend. There are tons of people who have lived in Japan for that or longer and know nothing. I also suspect that your command of the language is less than awe inspiring considering that you have lived in that country for virtually a lifetime.

Good day!

How ironic for such a comment to be coming from you.

Gaisaradatsuraku! wrote:As far as elitism is concerned. Yeah, I am elitist but I did not attend Berkely. I am graduate of a much finer institution on the East Coast.

Same difference. East Coast? Falwell's Liberty University, maybe? Or is it Bob Jones? I couldn't care less what school your parents bribed to get you into. You're still a self-important asshole, who is as "Japanese" as "Fujiyama" and "Carry-Okie."

Gaisaradatsuraku! wrote:But the real reason I am an elitist in comparison to you is simply because I have far greater ability. That has nothing to do with where I went to school or what my parents/grandparents did for a living.

You are nothing but a braggart and a bore. I don't think anyone on this forum would disagree.

And you sound like a dittohead fool with an inferiority complex. Am I right in concluding that you therefore are?

I told you not to patronize me. You began with the insults. Reread the thread.

I am fluent, both in speaking and in writing. I often give lectures in Japanese. I don't know how you can assume you somehow magically know things about me when you are really only pulling comments out of your ass.

You are a rude, tactless, self-important blowhard. You started with the sophomoric insults right off the bat. Grow up and learn some manners.

Uhhh...no. You and I both started with the insults and, frankly, mine were far more original.

Giving lectures are you? Welcome to the real world. As far as inferiority complexes go you seem to have a raging one yourself (what with your dislike of the ivy league etc., etc.).

Yeah, yeah, I know. I am just full of shit.

Keep telling yourself that.

Wrong. You began with the infantile comment about vomit. My, what a short memory you have.

I do not dislike the Ivy League. I dislike self-important twits who base their self-worth on what school their parents bribed to get them into, and then attempt to intimidate others by saying "Oh, but I went to Berkeley" or whatever. Meaningless.

What a facinating tussle in the tar pits to establish alpha-male.

At least your beer bottle are filling up quickly, Arman.

Although I don't want to incite anymore pissing contests, Arman., I would say your wicked generalizations about Gaisarada. remind a wee bit about what you are fighting againt. It is easy to fall into that trap when the bait is good......

Touche, perhaps. But I am commenting about one obnoxious individual. My comment about the Asian-American students may have been unfair, but not entirely untrue for a small subset, of which Gai is most probably a prime example.

I have never said that Japanese of any age should be more American. The meaning of internationalization I mentioned has nothing to do with American ideals. Why are Japanese interested in internationalization in the first place? Is someone forcing them to be more American by pushing this concept on them? If I am wrong, then what does internationalization mean to you? What do you think it means to the Japanese? Do you agree with them?

The irony that I spoke of lies in the fact that although Gai makes neo-con dittohead-type arrogant comments about American inherent supremacy, he then has the gall to mistakenly accuse me of wanting Japanese to be more American.
