I don't play video games, but I thought you can rent from Tsutaya..
I thought so too. Any gaijin that has ever been to a western video rental shop would (all that I ask, anyway), but it seems as though Tsutaya only SELLS video games, and for an inflated price as well.
I looked at the site, and although my command of written Japanese is atrocious, it looked like they were only selling video games. How does their rental system work? Is there a "brick and mortar" store in Osaka?
sorry my bad , possibly, i use that company to rent films and music, and they have games there that look like they are available to rent, but currently im into emulation so much i havent bothered buying a console, tho am in the market for a gcn, possibly the panasonic one, just for the gboy player.. erm what was i saying? oh yeh, it looks like that place rents games but im not sure! sorry ^^
anyhow, theres a lot of 2nd hand shops in most places...
damn, wish i could find a good msx 2 turbo somewhere!
So far I have only seen MUSIC for rent, and GAMES for sale. The OPPOSITE of the U.S. I am afraid you are going to have to buy your games, but most used shops guarantee their products, and the prices are very nice.
