Tatsuya Ichihashi a 2chan hero...

Postby Christoff » Fri Nov 20, 2009 10:47 am

"Posting on social networking sites such as Mixi and 2Channel, some have even taken to referring to Ichihashi as The Fugitive Prince or Lord Ichi. Others have claimed that he could not possibly have committed the crime because he looks so kind."

This kind of thing makes me wonder how equitable jury trials are going to be in this country.

Some lawyer was saying that he could get a death sentence even if he never opens his mouth. In fact, the police and prosecutors might actually be happier if he doesn't talk because if he makes up some bullshit that's even slightly credible it'll just complicate and delay the whole show.

The thing is, people want to know exactly what happened, and rightly so.

At this point no one except Ichihashi knows what happened, and of course there's a 0.0000000001% chance (or smaller) that he did nothing wrong: like, they were just sitting there having tea when the girl had a stroke, and in her confusion just before she died, staggered over to the balcony for some fresh air and accidentally fell into the bathtub when, just by chance, a truck carrying a load of sand down the street hit a bump and flung a load of sand up into the bathtub with freak accuracy.

It's pretty clear that he's guilty, and probably of more than we already assume, but some really weird shit has gone down in the Japanese legal system before. The show ain't over until it's over.

Dont worry, dude. These girls are treated as kichigai by almost all of Japanese.
And this sort of phenomenon is seen not only in Japan but also all over the world. "His sharp eyeline stimulates my motherhood!! Dont abuse him any more!!! He is not so evil!!! I really think so!!!".

Women of lower intelligence are generally attracted to anti-social rebels, and men who can't look after themselves (makes these women feel needed). Science tells us so.

That's true of women in general regardless of intelligence. And thank God because otherwise I'd never get laid.

Well here's the thing. It tends to work on the lower classes and more primative, unintelligent women. Meanwhile the upper-class, woman of high intelligence is busy golddigging rich men rather than bothering to get worked up over criminals and pond scum.

Similarly, unless you are a rogue and a general nuisance to society to the point where lower class women love you for being a helpless drunken man-child -- the only way women respect you is to be their carer and provider. After all, you don't need their care and nuturing -- you are an independant, responsible, wealthy man. They see something else in you....

It does seem an awful lot like some perverted form of Stockholm syndrome. Replace abduction with rape/murder/bathtub sandbox, and hostage with stupid Japanese women.

Japanese girls are into fades, they are going to get bored with this soon enough and go on to stickers, hula hoops or whatever the kids are into nowadays.

What science? I don't think that's the case at all. If anything, it's women who are brighter and aren't hurting for money, though more rebellious themselves who are attracted to "rebel" men. (most men can't look out for themselves, so that's a given). The same rule applies to men who do physical labor. e.g. construction worker vs salary man.

Samurai_Jerk wrote:That's true of women in general regardless of intelligence.

So true! Believe it or not when it comes to men, organs other than our brain DO come into play.

A BIG however, though - I'm referring to attractive, independent-thinking guys who dress and live as they please and say what they think regardless of current social norms, NOT ugly little murdering misfits who would make normal women barf.

Females who are attracted to sickies like Ichihashi sometimes surface here, too, but I have no idea what can be going on in their sick little masochistic brains.

Hey, I scored an anonymous red snot for this comment! Interesting, since it was supposed to be a mildy humorous response to an insult directed towards men in general.

I'll amend my comment by saying that I can't believe they don't have a sense of humor either!

Nyah nyah nyah! :p

Oh yuck, I swear it wasn't me!
(My shameful secret-I don't even know how to give snot, either the red or green variety, but if I could, it wouldn't be anonymous). I was going to post an equally smart-ass reply to you, but that red snot killed the mood.

I didn't mean my comment as an insult though, just a fact, especially applicable to J-guys; I've been told that their okaasans raise them like that on purpose, so they'll get married and make grandkids ASAP.

HA! That scheme doesn't seem to be working that well, ne.

OK, prime suspect scratched off list.

Snotting instructions: Click the little scales icon to the above right of the post to which you want to bestow snot, then simply click the "I approve" or "I disaprove" button and add a clever comment and your name in the field provided (assuming you don't want to remain anonymous).

Dragonette wrote:I was going to post an equally smart-ass reply to you, but that red snot killed the mood.

Aw c'mon, that's what I was hoping for.

[quote="Dragonette"]I didn't mean my comment as an insult though, just a fact, especially applicable to J-guys]
Yeah, well, there are guys who can't tie their own shoelaces and there are girls who can't read maps, but I don't think it's a majority. There may some truth to the idea that the incidence of J-guys with mother complexes is higher than in some other societies though. But some of us blokes can even cook!

If I countered with "most women are airheads, that's a given," I don't think there would be enough red pigment in my monitor to display the deluge of red dots I'd receive. :smashpc:

Getting a little OT though ... sorry about that.

OK, I gave you a greenie to even things out. I don't like the whole idea of rating though, because it could be inhibiting. Agree or disagree, it feels too much like J-style censorship by disapproval, and though it sometimes reads like boy's locker room comments, I like seeing how you guys think.

Back on topic: Here in the US, photos of women who "fall in love" and even marry inmates show them to be generally exceptionally unattractive or morbidly obese. It may be an expression of "anything is better than nothing" desperation. I'll bet these J-women are scary-looking, too.

Yes, the dots aren't important, especially if they're anonymous. But I really enjoy the clever little one-liners that people sometimes leave, so I check occasionally ("User CP" at the top of the page, in case you hadn't got that far ... go on, take a look).

The Ichihashi "fans" are not necessarily women either. As someone pointed out it could be some twisted dude(s) using the anonymity of the Internet to stir up some furor. There are enough misfits with too much time on their hands out there that seem to enjoy doing that sort of thing.

It has received a lot of attention because it's just so screwed up, but as even our normally antagonistic Takechanpoo pointed out, most Japanese consider these girls (or whatever they are) to be "kichigai," so it's probably, hopefully, just a glitch.

Sorry, you're right. It was quoted out of context. But I just wanted to reaffirm that women are smart as hell, so picked up that line from your post.

I wish women were a hell of a lot dumber than they are...even the already dumb ones. Still, I suppose trying to snare a smart woman is part of the challenge of trying to continue making additions to the gene pool. I just wish there were more women as dumb as I am and it would make it a lot easier for me. Unfortunately, that would be stooping pretty low for them...
