Johnny Knoxville gives his new son a Japanese middle name

Postby Mulboyne » Sun Dec 27, 2009 2:25 pm

Johnny Knoxville, whose legal name is Philip John Clapp, and girlfriend Naomi Nelson welcomed son Rocko Akira Clapp on December 20th. According to the Los Angeles Times the baby weighed in at 8lbs. and was 20 inches long. The name Rocko is more than likely a variation of the name Rocco, a German and Italian name meaning "rest." His middle name Akira is a Japanese name meaning "bright, intelligent" made popular in recent years by Japanese video games and manga.

Akira is a solid name. The kind of name that sounds really good when a parent yells it, as my wife and I have been doing for about 14 years now. I love the kid, but god damn...

Ah come on SJ. Why do you gotta insinuate to everyone on the board that I got STD. I'll have you know that I have never, ever, at any time in the last two weeks had anything like that... Well, with the possible exception of last night. I went home with a buzz saw from a Roppongi gin mill and from what I saw this morning when I woke up, she might have given me Leprosy, but that shouldn't be countable as an STD, right?
