Just turned it on.. Love Sasuke, aside from the melodrama.

Looks like a tough course; half-pipe and rope climb - ouch.

Does anyone know if the competitors know exactly what's in the course? It looks like they courses are very similar every year, with only slight changes.

They showed a quick blip that they're gonna change the course for the next one.
But it was great. Five 4th stage finalists and 1 winner.
It's a damn shame none of the Sasuke All Stars made it to the end.

Aha, that explains why the American kid that won the Ninja Warrior contest before didn't participate in Sasuke yesterday.
Seeing as how that many guys made it to the final stage (and a little shoe salesman beats all the macho men and Olympic athletes), they are definitely going to ratchet it up a few notches for the next competition.
Personally, I'm keen to see more of the female competitors, the 32 yr old aerobie girl was smokin'. I didn't know there was a female version (Kunoichi), as well as junior and senior.

So essentially what we are talking about is an updated and repackaged version of Superstars. I suppose Ninja Warrior does sound way cooler but I couldn't for the life of me spend time watching it.

Yeah, it's a shame she didn't get past the first round. More of the Kunoichi women need to show up at Sasuke.

I think they get a tour just before the competition starts when they, as a group, get to see someone go through it...at least the first stage. I don't know if they get a heads up months ahead of time saying that they dropped or added a specific segment of a stage
