It's a miracle!

A Sponichi report (Japanese) quotes a spokesman for the singer saying that it looked as if her hearing returned when she was performing at her 10 year memorial concert last night.

I thought "memorials" were for dead people....she performed at her own memorial...that's kind creepy, especially if she was all decayed, covered with worms, etc. Maybe people would think she's gone goth.

Many fans believe that Hamasaki Ayumi's era as the reigning musical starlet is over. Her performance at the Kohaku shows otherwise that her voice has recently gone to crappers**.

Somewhat related thread.

**not that she was any good to start out with.. it's still painful to watch

I'd still hit her before I hit Susan Boyle...(but I'd hit 'em both anyhow, preferably at the same time and preferably before Greji)

"Gone to"? When was she ever not crap? She is/was one of the worst screechers in my opinion. And what's with this new group of about 200 elementary school girls - did Morning Musume got cloned? And 3 chicks doing robotic choreographed moves with T-Pain type pitch correction effects (Perfume?).
Maybe all J-pop groups should starting using pitch correction (and yes, there's an app for that...).

Big deal. She's deaf in her left ear, and her fans are deaf in their left and right ears.

If a massive lack of talent didn't hurt her career, this certainly won't, either.

Hey, there's nothing wrong with being hung like a clitoris (Maybe that's why I fit so well into Japan....I have so much in common with the populace, men and women).
As every other bloke with a tiny dick says, "it's how you use it that counts." (Gee I'd really love to have AO's schlong for just one day, though....And I'd use it! :D No offense intended, AO.)
