If there are so many foreigners living in Japan, why can't the NPO Information Centre get one of them to check their English?

I had a look - and I agree with most of what is written, but know a lot of Japanese that need to be "reminded" of it.
I broke a mirror this morning, which means I should be getting 7 years of bad luck - but my lawyer says he can get me 5.

beat me to it! not only should the guide be in japanese, i think it's about time there was a guide for japanese about basic manners when dealing with foreigners.

I could have sworn there is since people pretty much treat me the same wherever I go. I think it starts off like this.

Step 1: Stare at them.
Step 2: Try to speak in English to them, even if they don't speak English.
Step 3: Ask them if they can eat natto, use chopsticks, or drink sake.
Step 4: Start every other sentence with "We Japanese." Remember, the more BS the statement is, the more you will believe it to be true.

There maybe more to it...
I am not really sure where I am going, I just hope that when I get there, I can sit down because I am sure my feet will be tired.

You forgot to mention that it is obligatory to inform foreigners that Japan has four seasons...
...and that Japan is a safety cuntry.

Especially the one about not leaving shit in the hallway. I've lived in everything from a crappy little suburban wasteland apaato to an expensive newly-built designer manshion in Chiyoda-ku and it doesn't make a difference. People here love to pile junk outside their doors and landlords never do a fucking thing about it.

Unless that is the gaijin doing it, that gets you an eviction warning.

I'd be curious to know how many foreigners this so-called NPO manages to actually help. Also would not be surprised if they also get some generous government grant that helps pay their Y20,000,000 annual salaries for their directors.

i'm one of two people in my building - i believe - paying for the bike parking. we have assigned bike racks. the rest just - cuz they're not paying i guess - leave their bikes, willy nilly, in the middle of the parking area.
oh how many times have i had to chuck those fucking bikes out of my way to get into my apartment...i'm gonna start stomping spokes soon...

fair warning.
