Buying ceramics in Tokyo

Been asked to buy a Japanese tea pot (the type with the handle on the side), some handmade cups for green tea and lacquer rice/soup bowls for a friend back home. I'll be taking them over in baggage.

Any suggestions for somewhere in Tokyo that sells nice stuff at reasonable prices? Preferably something that is more crafty in appearance than what's available at department stores.

Kappabashi, between Asakusa and Ueno, is to kitchens what Akihabara is to electronics. Literally hundreds of big and small shops selling all of that stuff. And since its mainly locals and pros shopping there instead of tourists, the prices and selections are pretty good.
