 From a guy who likes Volvos that would be pretty rich.

Currently I drive a 2008 Legacy B4 spec B. There is a photo around on FG from when I went to get it at the dealer. It is my second turbocharged B4 and will be my last -- I am not happy with Subaru's recent service (and I want more car anyway.) With regards to their service, there are a couple of problems with the car that they haven't taken proper care of and one issue that they have flat-out refused to fix. (The speedo displays 10% faster than the car is moving, something Subaru agrees is happening but says is within the acceptable range. Acceptable to them maybe, but sure as hell not acceptable to me.)

The Legacy is the only car we have right now but next time around I will get the wife a Honda Fit and then I'll go shopping for myself. There are a few cars that interest me, the RS6 and the GTR being two. I realize these are drastically different cars but as it will basically be my toy I have a lot of leeway in what I buy. As for automatic or not, the RS6 is only available with a tiptronic and the GTR only with a sequential manual. I don't like M-B at all (something we agree on I think!) From BMW I would take an M3 Coupe over an M5, and definitely get it with a stick.

Well, watching paint dry comes to mind... :p

Given that Ford has sold Volvo to the Chinese I don't think that Ford is that deeply involved anymore. And it makes you wonder for how long Volvo can still be considered Swedish.

My mate had an XC70 and I of course gave him heaps when he bought it. After having ridden in it though I'd have one in a heartbeat. Very nice car. Having said that however a few things went on it (electrics and/or gearbox as I recall) and the repair costs were astronomical. He now has a Forester.

If I wuz you... I'd avoid Audis... factor in the resale value...
GTR, will work long, parts a locally available, resale value won't certainly go down too fast.
RS6... will resale for the price of a happy meal... maybe not break down as much as a 90/00 era car but repair will cost you arm and leg...

I rear-ended a car this morning. So, there we were alongside the road and slowly the other driver got out of his car. You know how sometimes you just get soooo stressed and little things just seem funny? Yeah, well I couldn't believe it.... He was a DWARF!!! He stormed over to my car, looked up at me, and shouted, "I AM NOT HAPPY!!!"

So, I looked down at him and said, "Well, then which one are you?"

And then the fight started....

Give me an idea for midget porn, if you don't mind i might put a blonde sex-addict in nurse uniform in your role... I can already see the title "foreign medical encounter midget rape roadside assistance, super happy crash party"

Hope you'r ok, but from your summary it look like a small fender bender, even with the unhappy dwarf...
