This guy survived the car accident, but. . .

MONTESANO, Wash. (AP) - An Elma man was killed by accidentally urinating on a downed power line after a one-car crash near Montesano.

Grays Harbor County sheriff's Deputy Dave Pimentel said Monday that 50-year-old Roy Messenger was not seriously hurt after he collided with a power pole Friday night and called a relative to pull his car out of the ditch.

When family members arrived they found Messenger electrocuted. Pimentel says Messenger apparently urinated into a roadside ditch but didn't see the live wire.

Pimentel says there will be an autopsy but burn marks indicated the way the electricity traveled through the body.

One evening a couple of years ago I was waiting for a train at Yokohama station, and I happened to notice a drunk oyaji two platforms over nonchalantly stagger over to the farthest train line, and proceed to relieve himself onto the train track (luckily he was facing away and it was the outside line so no one was on the other side).
The thought going through my head was, too bad Japanese trains are powered by overhead lines...

I don't give a whoop what the mythbusters says. Piss on an electric fence once and you'll never do it again. I did it once and it knocked me back about a foot. Of course that was when I was a teenager, now pissing a solid stream is just a dream of long ago.
