Mass of the Fermenting Dregs concert in Sapporo: March 28th

Postby Hoekkaido » Fri Mar 12, 2010 1:05 pm

I know most of you guys are in Tokyo, but for anyone living in Hokkaido looking for a good indie rock show, this is for you.

Mass of the Fermenting Dregs, a female "shoegaze" style band from Kobe, will be playing the Spiritual Lounge in Sapporo on March 28th. Doors at a 6pm, and it's san zen en for a ticket and a drink.

Back in NYC, I used to hit up rock shows on a weekly basis. I miss the scene. I'm not big into Japanese music or female vocals, but MOTFD is an exception. They are excellent and chilled out, and I think this show is gonna be a good one. They played at the Fuji and Rising Sun rock festivals this summer and I'm told they put on a great (shoe and sock-less) show.

Let me know if you're interested. Major drunken debauchery to follow the show is promised.
