Japan is loved by many Western nations but in Asia the feelings are quiet different. The Chinese, Filipino, Taiwanese, N.Korean and other all have a bone to pick with Japan's WW2 crimes and its sexual slavery during WW2. On a row between S.Korea and Japan, the NKoreans will side with their Southern borthers ( they are infact the same people but divided by ideology. A reunification Of Korea could become a torn in Japan's side. There are historical hostilities and growing economic frictions between Japan and Korea which are the basis of
Japanese attitudes on the prospects of Korean unification. For the first fifty years of the century Japan occupied and exploited the Korean Peninsula leaving strong negative cultural biases and attitudes in the region.

Asia is an unstable region, the Thai's are going through regime change and Dokdo/Takeshima could become the next Falklands. All you need is one right-winger to start pulling a trigger.

Trigger to what? Which means, where's he going to find it (the trigger), or who's going to give it to him?

Looks like either NK has sunk a SK navy vessel or SK managed to blow it up themselves. Either way a rather large black eye for the SK navy.

And you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death

Anyone seen Tomorrow Never Dies?
I am not really sure where I am going, I just hope that when I get there, I can sit down because I am sure my feet will be tired.

Nothing in the Japanese news media about this? It turns out is was an NK torpedo and SK is now looking to the UN and a special committee to see if this is a casus belli. Meanwhile, China urges calm.
