Oh no - not the R-word!

From the man who made it:

This is my final thesis project. I created info-graphic, motion piece. My objective is to make Japanese people to think about that everything happening here in Japan, isn't that normal. So I created this video from foreigner's point of view, rather than Japanese people's point of view.

Both English and Japanese versions are available.

Got through about 3 mins... got bored.
I broke a mirror this morning, which means I should be getting 7 years of bad luck - but my lawyer says he can get me 5.

I was the same....
Japan's narcissistic obsession with itself has never done much for me. I just love it because it has four seasons.

Well, you gotta a point there Hair. But, there were some high points on the flick, like where the guy took a dump in the squat toilet in his suit and the timely "must" information on love hotel use and frequency of sex.....

Never seen... too young... but don't exactly make me want to see it...

I love these kind of docs with their uncontrolable diarrhea of facts that cant be used to make any sense...

Quantity of food from foreign origin given as a proportion while quantity of food wasted given as an absolute number... way to go... My highschool teacher would have waterborded you in her coffee cup out of frustration with these kind of expose...

One day... japanese will have to realise thta they are no longer relevant on the oh-so-culturally-quirky departement...

Orwellian England with -orange-mechanic-like- chavs, CCTV and batshit insane politician take the cake these days. Australia seems not to far behind...

You do NOT want to "see it."
You want to listen to it as NBC, oops, BBC Radio series or read it.

I think Taro means the BBC Radio series. To my knowledge NBC have never attempted a HHGTTG serial, and God willing never will. The recent movie ended up like so many UK IPs adapted for US screens, utter garbage best avoided like jaw cancer.

(The sole exception to this rule being "the Office", though Ricky Gervais still owns all)

Back on topic, the video has been pulled. Bo-Sensei's HHGTTG reference really had me curious :(

Yep, my bad, real bad.
I worked as a college radio engineer and helped broadcast the BBC Radio series as it was first aired on National Public Radio in the States.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Taro Toporific again.

Don't you know? They made it into a movie back in 2005, I thought it was pretty good, the video looked like the inside of the Hitchhiker's Guide, with the simple animation and everything.
