I started reading up about this hamster and yep, he is 75 years old, about the same age as Ishihara. Almost all the right wing cranks in this country are in the 70 to 80 age bracket. The reason I would assume is that if they were any older they would have been fighting in WWII and would have a clearer view of pleasant behavoir of Japanese soldiers. Anyone under this age is not likely to remember much. But 70 -80 year olds remember Japan as a victim.

I read a couple of his essays and they are really David Irvine level material. Tons of fun misleading statements, flawed syllogisms and deception.

Take mentioned that he claimed to have suffered discrimination in Germany in the 60's. Why is it that all cranks are discriminated against? I wonder. Interestingly enough, he kind of reminds me of another xenophobe with a similar background, Yosuke Matsuoka, who was discriminated against in the US.

While I don't dispute that much of this age group are ultra-nationalistic, I think it's too much to say they make up almost all of the mob.
The young are much more nationalistic now than they have ever been in my several decades here.
And they have been indoctrinated on the belief of Japan as a victim of World War II. They are far fiercer than these old codgers.

Nicely put Hair and in my experiences, very true!
