Hiroshima Apartments

Postby irishpacker » Tue Apr 06, 2010 5:31 pm

Afternoon chaps, and chapettes.

I was hoping someone would be able to recommend or point me in the right direction of some sort of monthly accomidation down south in Hiroshima? I've searched the web and I can't seem to find any sites advertising places down there.

Been living in Tokyo since September, but on one of my many random excursions last week I discovered the epicness of Hiroshima and fell in love with the place. I'm heading home to the motherland in August-ish but I would love to spend a few weeks, even a month down there towards the end of my year in Japan. Any advice on Hiroshima would be appreciated! :)

Cheers guys

A quick Google search for "hiroshima gaijin house" turned up a number of results, including this place that looks interesting.

If you're heading down in August though you will want to try to book in advance as it is peak tourist season and likely that everything (even gajin houses) will be busier than normal.
And you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death

Plenty of info on http://www.gethiroshima.com
J-Hoppers is good, but best to book well in advance. Hana Hostel also fine.
Hiroshima's a grand place - done me well these past few decades.
Is that the time?
