First in a serie...
I currently use some NKK toggle switches. They are good and strong so for 100v i never have to worry...
But for cockpit use they are moderately overkill, expensive and require way too much pressure to be toggled. Trouble is all the other toggle switches I find are 50% smaller... with is ridiculously hard to handle with standard pilot gloves (the half leather / half nomex usual kind)
I used ON(tmp)-OFF-ON(tmp) for starting and resetting the CPUs, it's ok because it's a one time per session use but even just for this I have to grab part of the switch guard with my other fingers to help me trigger them without slidding pushing too hard or not enough... it's an ergonomical hell. So I really need something lighter, for the other triggers... while remaining the same size... (rating as low as 5v, 20mA ok)
Do you have any -local- advice ?
Many thanks...
