The only reason there's a so called media blackout atm is because there's no solid proof it ever happened. Would make for an awesome Tom Clancy story though the prospect of BP/Halliburton/Transocean just being a group of greedy cunts is far believable :D

In other trending conspiracy news, Voyager 2 has started sending back data messages NASA scientists can't decode.

NASA installed a 12-inch disk containing music and greetings in 55 languages in case intelligent extraterrestrial life ever found it.

But now the spacecraft is sending back what sounds like an answer: Signals in an unknown data format!

The best scientific minds have so far not been able to decipher the strange information –]

There's been a glut of great conspiracy stories recently. One of my favorites was the "timeline shift" that moved New Zealand from Australia's northwest coast to its current position east of Sydney. And then there's the sightings of a second sun, the so called Planet X aka Nibiru which is on course for a close encounter with Earth in 2012. It really makes you wonder why Hollywood needs to rely on reboots and remakes when there's all this untapped story telling talent going to waste :(

Even tom clancy could have come up with something a little more believable than that.

Great stuff! Love the North Korea torpedo story!
That doesn't mean I believe a word of it, but good conspiracy theories are just great entertainment. Certainly better that the crap on TV.

Shiet, even Tom Jones would have come up with something more believable than that.
